Our Therapy
We use only the most rigorously tested and time-proven approach to both learning and challenging behaviors, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA Therapy). It is recommended and supported by the U.S. Surgeon General, the National Institute of Mental Health, National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, National Research Council, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the American Academy of Neurology, NY State Dept of Health and many other national medical policy organizations and national professional medical associations.
What the Surgeon General says about Applied Behavior Analysis…
The Surgeon General – “Intensive, sustained special education programs and behavior therapy early in life can increase the ability of the child with autism to acquire language and ability to learn.” “Thirty years of research demonstrated the efficacy of applied behavioral methods in reducing inappropriate behavior and in increasing communication, learning, and appropriate social behavior.” On identifying the most scientifically supported treatments for Autism, Pediatrics, (the official journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics), says, “The most efficacious psychosocial treatment for autism is applied behavior analysis…”(Lilienfeld, 2005).

“When I was a little child I had problems with eating in the cafeteria. The chairs would be jerking in and out, and there was a noise overload.”
